Wireless ThinkVision Uses Encryption
Most wireless networks use encryption because there is always someone waiting to steal free internet access and information, but now projectors are starting to use encryption because they too are going wireless. A company by the name of Lenovo, and yes I know, you don’t know…Lenovo, has manufactured a projector called the ThinkVision C400 that has wireless capability. It is not only wireless, but it also can prevent projector “hackers†from using your projector and the information being fed to it.
Industrial espionage has been around since the beginning of competition between rival companies, and now you too can take part in a preventative role. Don’t let those sneaky office dwellers below you capture your signals and use them for their presentation, which they put no work of their own into.
The new wireless revolution is here and if you are getting ready for a presentation, you can keep your mind on your priorities and not worry about having to bring the right cords. You don’t have to think about where to lay down the cords therefore you won’t disturb the flow of the presentation room. Your boss won’t be tripping over the cord and getting a bad impression before you’ve begun because you are quite able, and completely wireless!
Lenovo is on top of the wireless game thanks to its roots in the personal computing world. Lenovo acquired the old division that IBM had once devoted to Personal Computing and has turned it into a success story.
Of course there are problems with today’s wireless technology, no matter how far along it has come. Cell phones are always breaking up, and even that home network of yours sometimes cuts off, so you can’t expect everything to be perfect.
As long as you know that the wireless technology will occasionally have a weak point, you will be ready for it. Otherwise, it is definitely a step in the right direction.
You can look forward to these new projectors from Lenovo to be light weight, and to produce the same bright picture that you come to expect from an expensive projector. Well actually, the price is even coming down with all the competition on the market these days. Expect to pay a starting price of roughly $2400 US. Jump on the wireless train today!
