New BENQ is Whisper Quiet
BenQ has recently unveiled some new technology in its latest incarnation and is making it available to the Indian public. BenQ has released it’s new MP611c in India, and it is making rave reviews already. The new projector boasts the quietest audible noise level to date at a stunning 24db’s.Now keep in mind that this projector runs between 24 and 28db’s and if you want to get that low noise level, you must run the MP611C in its most efficient eco-mode. If you want to get an idea of what 24db’s sounds like, it should be the same as if someone was whispering.
Try sitting in your living room and have someone whisper during the duration of a movie. You might not like it! BenQ is definitely pushing the Whisper Quiet technology but is it necessarily better? It all depends on how much noise you can take, and how much noise affects you during your movie watching experience.
BenQ definitely has done a good job by designing a new fan cooling system that is extremely quiet yet is powerful enough to keep the system cool. As you all know, keeping your system cool is very important to the life of your projector and projector lamp. BenQ specifications say that the projector lamp should last an average of 4000 hours., which is quite good compared to most standards of 2000 hours.
Everything else about the BenQ MP611C is pretty top-notch as it’s resolution sits at 1280-1024 and it’s contrast ratio is 2000:1. It also has an amazing 2100 ANSI lumens which keeps the picture bright, even with present daylight. It incorporates a Blackboard mode which is becoming more and more popular among users because it optimizes the clarity for projecting onto a black screen or surface.
However, the cooling system and fan design are still what makes this machine stand out. It has an intelligent brain that can optimize cooling settings to the environment in which it is performing. For instance, the MP611C can automatically make sure the fan is running optimally for different altitudes and therefore oxygen density. For all those who live in higher regions and where the oxygen levels are low, you now can purchase a projector that truly understands your environment. It’s no wonder that BenQ is releasing the MP611c in India, those living in the Himalayas are already excited!
